Elvis Presley (1935 - 1977)

Elvis is one of my favorites, I mean, c'mon! With a big friggin' eye and everything! This is over 10 years old, I also did a different big eye Elvis version around that same time.

The Gravestones

Four years ago, when this show was a possibility, The Gravestones lived!

John Eckhardt, Jr (1911 - 1991)

Man, this guy! He's a "halfer", that is to say, he's got no bottom half. The Great Johnny Eck as he was called. A circus side-show freak who also played in Tod Browning's 1932 film called Freaks. He ALSO, according Wikipedia, was an artist, photographer, illusionist, penny arcade owner, Punch and Judy operator, expert model-maker, race car driver, swimmer, runner, tight rope walker, animal trainer, gymnast, orchestra conductor, train conductor and traveler. "Freaks" is amazing. This sketch must be like 12 years old.

Vincent Price (1911 - 1993)

If Vincent Price is in a movie, I'm going to watch it, you dig? Along with Peter Cushing, one of the best actors in horror. This sketch is about 4 years old or more, most probably drawn during the last time I had a Corman/Poe/Price fest (by myself).

Skeleton head sketch from last week.

Pig's Head

This is a dead pig's head, which would be placed on a stick as seen in Lord of the Flies. This head is an object that would be used by an Indonesian black magic / Dimension W character I am working on.

Frank Sinatra (1915 - 1998)

On my way home from work sometime around 1999, I found a blank cassette with Frank Sinatra music on side 2 so I kept it and made myself this cover. At the time, I had no Frank Sinatra music.

Dead (1969 - 1991)

Dead, his stage name, was the first Mayhem singer and the guy who blew his brains out because the Norwegian black metal scene was getting overrun by posers. I'm sure it was more complicated than that. His band mates found the body and took pictures of his corpse, brains poured all over the floor, to use for their next album cover! I saw it, it's pretty gross. The band's founding member was later murdered by the bassist, who has just recently been released from prison after 20 years. Some movie about it seems to be coming out, or is out already. Anyways, their music is an amazing style of black metal (one of the original styles), and is especially good due to the drums and various singers they went through. I drew this 5 years ago.

Writer's Block (1997)

This was my first puppet animation done in 1997, which played in many festivals throughout the world, due to it's short length and gory animation. My first idea for the short was when I was in a grocery store and saw calf brains for sale. I thought to myself: whatever puppet movie I make, it will include these brains. It smelled pretty bad under the lights.

Lon Chaney Jr aka Larry Talbot

Part of the horror film characters exposed at the Centre Culturel Aberdeen in Moncton NB for Felino Bytes in 2006. This actor is what made the original Wolfman (1941) so good. Benicio could not do the same for the newer, lamer version.
